British blues rock artist Krissy Matthews has put together the best guitar party of the year! Guitargasm 2025 will be coming to Blues Garage, Hannover on Saturday 10 May.

 Jimmy Bowskill (CAN) – (The Sheepdogs, Blue Rodeo)
Legendary Canadian artist Jimmy Bowskill is a force of nature that has led a fantastic solo career and more recently played as the guitarist for very well known bands such as The Sheepdogs and Blue Rodeo. Jimmy is one of a kind! A hell of a player, songwriter and multi instrumentalist! Here is some raw footage with The Sheepdogs.

Jason Barwick (UK) – (The Brew)
Jason is the lead guitarist and singer of very successful British rock band The Brew. A beautiful and powerful guitarist and singer who is guaranteed to tear the house down! Here he is live with The Brew!

Nicolas Meier (CH) – (Jeff Beck)
Swiss born, UK-based guitarist Nicolas Meier has carved a reputation out as one of the world’s most original and uniquely talented guitarists. Drawing from a love of Turkish, Eastern & Middle Eastern music, Flamenco, Tango and Jazz, Meier’s versatility and musical fluency extends well beyond that, even so much so, that his considerable talents drew the attention of rock guitar legend, Jeff Beck, who made Nicolas a mainstay in The Jeff Beck Group carrying him on two world tours during the course of the last several years.

Rory Evans (UK)
Rory is one of the UK’s finest fingerstyle guitar players, noted for his incredible speed and accuracy, he’s a shining example of today’s breed of young guitar players, forever pushing boundaries and inspiring others.

The show will be conducted and musically directed by Krissy Matthews (UK).

Krissy has performed well over 1000 shows across the world in some of the world’s most prestigious venues including Ronnie Scott’s and Loreley.
At 12 years old he performed with John Mayall sharing an amp with the legend of Peter Green. At 15 he received career advice from the great BB King and at 16 was the last musician to play with the amazing Jeff Healey in UK.

Him and his band have shared the stage with some of the biggest names in music such as Toto, Gregg Allman, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Joe Bonamassa, Joe Satriani and Beth Hart.
Krissy is signed to Ruf Records and last month released his very critically acclaimed album Krissy Matthews and Friends which is a collaboration with 80 musicians lasting over 3 hours.
Guests on the record include Paul Jones, Clawfinger, Chris Farlowe, Arthur Brown, Dennis Chambers and many more.

It was top of the Amazon Blues Charts for two months, received multiple radio plays and top reviews including a 9/10 highlight album in the biggest British rock magazine Classic Rock and last month the front cover feature artist in Bluesnews Germany amongst many more.
Krissy Matthews has his own voice on his instrument which is harder and harder to achieve in today’s world and seeing him live with his band is an experience you will not forget and let you escape your every day problems for those hours he is on stage.
